Every so often, Kohl’s will run a Kohl’s Cash promo in which you will receive $10 in Kohl’s Cash for every $50 spent in store or online on all regular, sale and clearance items (excluding gift cards). There is no minimum price on the items you can redeem, so if you’ve had your eye on a pair of earrings or something else under the $10 mark, use your Kohls Cash and snag it for free.
Shop the Gold Star Clearance Event:
Kohl’s has some of the best clearance racks around to begin with, but during the Gold Star Clearance Event, prices get even better as the discounts stack up! Yes2You Rewards:
With Kohl’s Yes2You Rewards, when you shop online, in-store or in-app, just show your reward card (or provide your email) when you pay and get one point for every dollar spent and $5 for every 100 points. Open a Kohl’s Charge Card:
If you are a frequent shopper at Kohl’s you may want to look into opening a Kohl’s charge card. As a card-holder you’ll be able to take advantage of incredible benefits, like special discounts of 15-30% at least 12 times a year. In addition, if you spend $600 a year on your Kohl’s charge card, you’ll become a Most Valued Customer (MVC) and receive at least 18 exclusive discounts annually like pick-a-day savings or additional coupons. Stack up to Four Coupon Codes Online:
Kohl’s will let you use up to four coupon codes on your online order, as long as they are different types of coupons (percent off, dollar off, free shipping, and Kohl’s Cash/Yes2You rewards. You can stack all four Kohl’s promo codes in one order, which can result in some major savings.
Though you may have entered your promo codes in a different order, they will always be applied in the following order during checkout:
- First, department-specific dollar-off or percent-off promo codes will be applied to the qualifying items.
- Then, any dollar-off coupons (like Kohl’s Cash and Rewards Cash) will be subtracted from your subtotal.
- Lastly, the ONE sitewide percent-off discount will be applied.
Shop Power Hours:
Shop Power Hour specials (usually every 2nd and 4th weekend of the month) to save an additional 10-25% both in-store and online. Night owls can shop in-store 3 p.m. to midnight on Fridays, while early birds will prefer to hit the racks on Saturday morning when stores open. Look out for these in-store and online markdowns a couple times per month.
Price-Adjustments:

Wednesdays are Senior days at Kohl’s as they offer a 15% discount for those over 55 in stores. The discount is good on regular-priced, sale and clearance merchandise, however it cannot be used in conjunction with Kohl’s Cash or other extra percent-off discounts so this might be best to use on hot items that you want to snag before they get to the clearance rack. If you’re not over 55, let friends and family who are eligible in on this tip so they can take advantage.
